Essex County Council Collaboration Success
Amanda’s long standing collaboration with Essex goes back to 2009 when she was invited to take 500 care home leaders through her training. In their most recent collaboration, Amanda joined Lesley Cruickshank, Provider Quality Innovation Manager at Essex County Council to deliver 160 training packs, 160 books, 120 of Amanda’s award-winning films, four training days, and a key note speech at the Professional Care Workers’ Day to Care Homes across Essex. Amanda was also delighted to be invited to present the prestigious Essex County Council Prosper Care Awards.
Following the four successful training days, we are delighted to report 100% of participants said her resources would be very beneficial and 81.4% reported the workshop as excellent - the highest possible rating.
Participant feedback includes;
‘The workshop was inspiring and made me think of delivery of care from a different angle, it also made me think about myself, my views and what motivates me.’
‘What a fantastic training. I have never been on such a training that is so compassionate.’
‘Very interesting and awe inspiring so glad I came and experienced this. Amanda Waring’s style of training was very engaging’
‘I would happily put everyone I know on this course.’
‘Amazing thought provoking day. Can't wait to cascade what we learnt and how I learnt it to my staff.’
Amanda welcomes collaborations with Councils across the UK. Amanda’s rallying cry for 2020 is how she may help you transform care in your areas. Together we will make a difference.
