Amanda Waring is an award winning filmmaker, speaker, celebrant, actress and later life campaigner. Her short film has been used around the world to promote change to the care of older people.
During this masterclass Amanda will share her story of compassion in action; she will provide awareness and tools for developing empathy and communication skills when working with those who are in grief, frail, or with dementia, and helping one understand the relative's perspective of older people needing advice.
This masterclass is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the soft skills needed to communicate effectively and ways to be compassionate with ourselves and others.
(to be a specialist later life adviser. It is especially relevant now during this time of lockdown and isolation when many clients may be anxious and looking for reassurance as to their financial future.)
